Kathina Day in Ipoh - Miita for life from Penang organiased a Health Awareness Campaign -well attended ! Great accomplishment by Mitta- Free tests offered - Free Ht, Wt, Body mass Index, Body fat percentage, Fasting blood sugar & cholesterol, Bone scan T score to assess Osteoporosis, Free Counselling by medical Doctors( to explain the blood test ,results) Free Dietary couselling by diettician, Free Paeds clinic by Paediatrician, Free Dental clinic by two dentisits, Free reiki sessions by Miita voulteers - 159 people registered and benefited on that day in Ipoh. Thanks to each and everyone for making this event a great success !!!!

It was a beautiful Sunday meaningfully spent at the Ipoh Dhammadipa Buddhist Centre. Devotees and Mitta volunteers set out very early in the morning to participate in the activities as part of the celebrations on Kathina Day.It was very encouraging that a large crowd of locals was there to have their blood tests, to have their medical questions answered and of course to experience the reiki energy (for many it was the first time). It was evident that those who were there helping out in whatever way, did enjoy themselves too. The gloomy sky with light drizzles did not dampen their spirits as they boarded the bus for home.Saddhu to all participants! Marvellous job!
