Our beloved Rev Indaratana (1954-2020)

Mitta for Life Volunteers sadden over the loss
of our beloved Chief Rev Dr. E. Indaratana (1954 to 2020)
Rev was a very compassionate monk, I remember him always
smiling to his devotees and volunteers.
Mitta for Life Counselling Centre was initiated and started by
the late Chief Rev. , to help the temple devotees and public.
Mitta is a centre for Cancer Patients to receive counselling, support  and
REIKI Healing Energy to reduce their emotional, physical pains and sufferings.

Chief Rev led a few Mitta volunteers on a holy pilgrimage to the 4 Holy places in India
(Bodhigaya, Sarnath, Kushinara Lumbini and Sravasti)

Rev initiated 3 Novitiate Program to Sri Lanka successfully (2011 -2013)
assisted by Mitta for Life volunteers.

Our late Chief had supported Mitta for Life in spirit and kindness, promoting Reiki Therapy
to temple devotees on Temple Health Day, and many events in
Mahindarama Buddhist Temple

Mitta for Life will always be grateful to the late Rev Indaratana and have
a place in our hearts.

May you be born in the highest realm

Words to me then was to go under the bodhi tree make an aspiration because below the Bodhi tree there are a lot of Deva ( in 1970 when chief rev.wanted to go to America he make an aspiration below the Bodhi tree and he got his visa. Another time he make an aspiration to set up amatta clinic ) Chief rev.also asked to share merits to everyone even to my husband. I am grateful to have known chief rev. May Rev. attain Nibbana
